Tanzania Horticultural Association (TAHA) is an apex private sector member based organization mandated to develop and promote horticultural crops (flowers, fruits, vegetables, spices, herbs and horticultural seeds) in Tanzania. TAHA's goal is to improve the growth and competitiveness of horticultural industry in the country for social and economic gains, TAHA is a strong voicing platform, representing farmers at all levels, processors, exporters and service providers In the horticultural industry in Tanzania TAHA is looking for motivated and highly experienced individuals to fill the following positions:

Duty Station: Arusha

 Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Implement capacity building programs on business management.
Develop guidelines on cost-benefit analyses for valorous horticultural business lines.
Assist tanners in the formalization of their business.
Conduct cost benefit analysis for farmer groups and partners.
Maintain regular contact (especially via site visits) with Agri-business and producer groups in assigned portfolio.
• Establish Investment guidelines for horticultural crops.
Provide direct technical assistance in proper business management practices farmers and other practitioners assisted by TAHA.
Design and implement strategies on commercialization of some TAHA services.
Identify and create information on new business opportunities relating to horticulture.
• Create platforms/interactive sessions for various players in horticultural businesses.
Assist in the development and implementation of robust TAHA marketing system to facilitate farmers' access to profitable, and reliable markets.

 Qualifications:


Bachelor's Degree in Agri-Business, Economics, Business Administration or any related field with a minimum of 4 years work experience in Development Projects.
