organization mandated to develop and promote horticultural crops (flowers,
fruits, vegetables, spices, herbs and horticultural seeds) in Tanzania. TAHA's
goal is to improve the growth and competitiveness of horticultural industry in
the country for social and economic gains, TAHA is a strong voicing platform,
representing farmers at all levels, processors, exporters and service providers
In the horticultural industry in Tanzania TAHA is looking for motivated and
highly experienced individuals to fill the following positions:
DUTY
STATION: ARUSHA
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate in the project documents development/preparation and review processes in accordance with the partner's requirements.
- Assist the Programs Manager in the overall planning and implementation of TAHA development project
- Provide focal leadership and coordination of assigned projects activities. These include guiding the team and partners in setting up and implementing project activities according to plans.
- Provide focal leadership in the establishment and operationalization of Practical
- Training Centers under the assigned projects.
- Ensure cross cutting issues i.e. Gender and Nutrition, Youth and Women are well integrated in the activities implementation.
- Coordinate proper data collection, analysis and reporting from Agronomists and other partners
- Ensure timely reporting and submission of quality progress and impactful reports to your supervisor(s).
Qualifications:
A Post-graduate
degree in Business Management, Planning, Economics, Agri-business or related
field. Must have a minimum of 4 years working experience in managing development
projects. A good experience in designing and implementing innovative projects
and working with agricultural communities to develop value chains
